Taken from the Honest Girl Scouts campaign. For a campaign trying to get people /not/ to buy cookies and /not/ support the GSUSA, this is doing an awful lot to suddenly make me want /to/ support the GSUSA. (and I’m saying this a a former Girl Scout of about 6 years who hasn’t bought cookies in years because they’re too expensive).
I see so much acceptance here, and especially in a time in children’s lives where acceptance is so important, taking that away from them is just cruel.
oh man I really want to buy girl scout cookies now

Exactly. And I’ll take mine with a side of stem cells. Mmmmm. Stem cells.
Too important to queue
So much love. Everyone buy Girl Scout Cookies.
Sooo, we agree the boy scouts could learn a thing or two from the girls?
It’s the time of year when Americans everywhere reflect on the people and things for whom and for which they are thankful. Doing so forces us to step outside of our self-involved sphere, if only…

Two weeks ago, I said I was done with wedding planning until after finals. In those two weeks, I have gotten the boy started on the website, the save-the-dates, and the honeymoon planning. I myself…
Updated list of readers below for tomorrow’s reading of Bartleby, the Scrivener at the public atrium at 60 Wall Street. The reading is free and open to all; we’ll have portions of the text available for walk-up readers. Attendees are encouraged to bring donations for OWS; according to Haywood Carey of our panel on Monday, duct tape and blankets are currently needed.

Well, as of this weekend, the boy and I officially have both a venue and a date. I couldn’t be more pleased because the venue is absolutely perfect. My sweet friend, Katie, went with me to view the…

One of the smartest things I ever did was buy my cute leather jacket on sale at Dillard’s at the end of the winter season last year. It turned out to be my most chic item in Europe this summer and…
Every bride-to-be faces a barrage of pressures and stresses in preparing her fairy-tale (or, in my case, ghetto country) wedding, especially when said brides-to-be make the mistake of watching the…
My final set from Prague is now available on Flickr here. I’m not gonna lie. I’m a little sad to be done sorting through the photos. It was an amazing trip, and I can’t wait for the next chance to…
Well, we were worried it would happen, and it has. As much as I try not to let it take over all of my conversations with the boy, it consumes most of my free thought not spent on school work. I am…
So, being back in Texas and seeing my boyfriend and brother and friends has been wonderful. It’s been hotter than Hades, and there are days I get a little misty-eyed realizing I can’t just hop on a…
My pictures from Vysehrad Castle are now available here. Only one set left! Sadly, it may be a few more weeks before I get to it.
